Juvenile Fiction/Holidays & Celebrations / Thanksgiving
It’s Thanksgiving Day and Farmer Byrd’s Turkey & Vegetable Farm is expecting business, but a surprisingly empty pen has the farmer declaring “No turkeys for sale!” Follow along as a group of kids get crafty and decide to save some turkeys by coming up with a cornucopia of creative and silly disguises for their feathered friends. Inspired by the popular Thanksgiving school activity of creating paper disguises for the turkey, this paper-over-board picture book is perfect for the classroom and for story time at home.
